SD RX -121-1 Gundam

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Gundam Paper Model

Enjoy with the one of the very nice Gundam paper model. This paper model is created from RX-121-1 Gundam. From the animate series this mobile suite was rebuilt from the original Hazel after it is heavily damage in combat with Zeon remnants. The model comes with Hazel’s unique shield boosters. Most of its armor remains the grey color because of redeployment schedule there wasn’t time to repaint the machine in Titan colors but this one make it looks unique.

The Hazel Custom’s (Nick name of RX-121-1 Gundam) basic specs are similar to those of the GM Quel. Its leg sections house thermonuclear rocket engines and its backpack is equipped with the same movable booster pod as the original Hazel. A multi weapon latch can be plugged into its center skirt armor to support options like a sub arm unit or a flexible beam rifle unit, and another multipurpose latch is located above its cockpit hatch.

SD ZZ Gundam

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Gundam Paper Model

Gundam ZZ was originally conceived of as a second season of Zeta Gundam, but it was ultimately decided that the show should feature an all-new cast. Nevertheless, its broadcast immediately followed that of Zeta Gundam and manages to tie up a major plotline from Zeta that was left unfinished.
As part of Tomino’s tendencies to follow up a tragedy with a comedy, this nominal sequel to Zeta Gundam struck a much lighter, often comical, tone, in contrast to its predecessor’s brooding melodrama. For example, in the first episode, Captain Bright is reduced to defending the Argama from thrown oranges. Judau Ashta’s first battle clearly lampoons the previous Gundam pilot’s instant piloting ability by having Judau be incredibly poor at combat in his first battle, however his opponent is still quite afraid of him. The whimsical opening theme song Anime Ja Nai (It’s Not Anime) reflected the campiness of the first half of the series. The second half of the series does return to a more serious tone while sporting a more somber opening theme song. Because of its lighter tone and its slapstick humour, the series suffers a poor reputation among the serious-minded ranks of Gundam fandom, some of which even accuse Tomino of deliberately trying to sabotage the Gundam franchise. Despite this, it scored high ratings with the younger, more casual audiences, and the show’s first opening theme Anime Ja Nai became extremely popular with anime fans and is sometimes mentioned as one of the most memorable anime songs of all time.

SD RX-78-2

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Gundam Paper Model

The third mobile suit developed under the Earth Federation’s top-secret “Project V,” the RX-78 Gundam series saw final assembly and rollout at the Side 7 colony under the supervision of engineer Lieutenant Tem Ray. Three prototypes were constructed, although only one unit, the RX-78-2, survived a Zeon attack on Side 7 when Project V was discovered by Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable. The RX-78-2, having been commandeered by Ray’s young son Amuro, fended off the attack and was transferred to the assault carrier White Base. Amuro Ray would continue to serve as the Gundam’s pilot for the remainder of the One Year War, being White Base’s mobile front line of defense.
The Gundam was designed as a fast, close-combat mobile suit and was the first to feature several new technologies, including the energy cap-based beam rifle (making the Gundam the first mobile suit to pack the firepower of a battleship) and beam saber. Although designed with “high performance” in mind, the Gundam was simply outmatched by its own pilot: Amuro’s emerging Newtype abilities would increasingly allow him to push the Gundam beyond its design limits. This had the often-annoying result of the Gundam’s motors and joints getting burned-out or overloaded simply because it couldn’t keep up with Amuro’s reflexes. A later field upgrade which involved coating the joints with an electromagnetic solution, thus reducing the motors’ and joints’ friction, increased the Gundam’s performance to a point where it could keep up with Amuro’s reaction time. Another factor that contributed to the Gundam’s success was its “learning computer” system, which allowed the mobile suit to “learn” from - and adapt to - the pilot’s input. The data from the learning computer system would later be incorporated into the Federation’s first mass-production model mobile suit, the RGM-79 GM.
The Gundam’s service record - and that of Amuro Ray - would continually draw the attention of the Zeon forces - and particularly Char Aznable - until the end of the war… thus providing the distraction the Federation military needed to complete construction of its GM units at its Jaburo base on Earth. The Gundam was finally destroyed at the Battle of A Bao A Qu in a fight against Char Aznable, piloting the MSN-02 Zeong mobile suit, although Amuro survived. As fate would have it, of course, the Gundam itself would become the most famous mobile suit of the One Year War - even more famous than its young pilot, Amuro Ray, whose own abilities were the keys to the Gundam’s performance, perhaps more so than the abilities of the Gundam itself.

This papermodel is the one of chalacter from the classics mobill suit from Gundam series. I hope you enjoy with this papermodel.
